A very angry mother of two teenage boys became acutely depressed after overworking then being wrongfully dismissed through an administration error. She played the CDs day and night, 'just holding on', until self-confidence and positivity began to return. The joyful demeanour of a middle-aged man who 'had it all' steadily deteriorated until he was caught up in chronic depression. Dr Farmer's words reminded him that every shadow points to a light, and so he began rediscovering a life's attitude that he'd lost as a child.
